SCRAP & SALVAGE ASSET MANAGEMENT
Move the Asset. Close the File.
“Picked Up” Isn't the Same as Finished
An asset can be gone from the lot and still be sitting in someone’s workflow.
Maybe the title still needs to be processed. Maybe the required disposition needs to be verified. Maybe someone has to answer where the vehicle went months later.
That is the gap TRS closes.
One accountable point of contact coordinates transportation, processing, disposition and applicable documentation, so a team can move the asset and move on from it.
TRS holds a salvage dealer’s license, giving clients confidence that the process behind the pickup is reliable.
From Pick Up Through Documented Disposition
Not every asset should end the same way. One account may require complete destruction. Another may allow recycling or remarketing.
TRS works with leasing companies, salvage asset managers and other organizations that need commercial assets removed and moved through a defined disposition process.
THAT CAN INCLUDE:
Pickup and transportation
Processing
Destruction, recycling, remarketing or other approved disposition
Title-related processing
NMVTIS reporting, where applicable
Certificates of destruction
Recycling documentation
Other required disposition records
CASE STUDY
The Asset Was Gone. Questions Came Later.
A commercial truck that had previously been sold later turned up in an accident.
The vehicle was gone. The questions weren’t.
That’s why salvage disposition should create a clear record of what happened after an asset left, not simply that somebody picked it up.
